How We Work Together

Start Where You Are

You can book your initial evaluation right away, or start with a free consult call if you’d like to ask questions and see if this feels like the right fit for you.

First Session

Your first session is a 90-minute, comprehensive visit including evaluation and treatment where we look at the full picture—your symptoms, history, daily routines, and goals.

You’ll leave with clear, personalized strategies that fit into your daily life so you can start making progress right away.

Internal pelvic floor assessment is always optional.

Care That Fits Your Life

Your plan of care is built around you. Whether that’s weekly visits or more spaced-out support, we adjust as your needs evolve to keep things realistic and helpful.

Between sessions, you’ll have direct access for questions, updates, and guidance—so you feel supported and confident in what you’re doing.

Build Confidence +
Transition Out of Care

As you progress, the focus shifts toward independence—helping you feel more comfortable, capable, and confident in your body.

When you’re ready to wrap up care, you’ll have a clear understanding of what works for you and how to continue supporting yourself moving forward.

Ongoing Support, When You Need It

You don’t need to have symptoms to benefit from pelvic floor therapy.

Some clients check in during new seasons—pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause—or simply want a “tune-up” to stay ahead of things.

Think of this as a more functional, whole-body approach to maintaining your core and pelvic health over time.

Meet Sarah Kate,
Your Pelvic Floor Therapist

I’m Sarah Kate, an occupational therapist and pelvic floor therapist, and I founded Charleston Pelvic Health to fill a gap in women’s healthcare by providing personalized, high-quality pelvic health care that meets you where you are, physically and emotionally. I created a practice that offers the kind of care I wish more women had access to—thoughtful, one-on-one support that fits into real life.

I’ve navigated pregnancy, cesarean recovery, and my own pelvic health challenges, including painful sex and unexpected leaking. I know how disruptive these symptoms can feel, especially in the middle of an already full life. With advanced training in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and complex conditions across the lifespan, I’m here to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and at home in your body.
